Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar is the largest landowner in the watershed, at almost 10 acres. This area in the eastern portion of the watershed is rich in sensitive natural resources. MCAS Miramar has developed an Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) to mange the natural resources on the base. Its primary purpose is to integrate MCAS Miramar’s support of its military mission with the management and conservation of its natural resources. Their efforts include the removal of invasive species and the restoration of degraded areas.
